More than a pipe: a system that protects your home.

The cement portion at the top of the chimney. It sheds water away from the chimney and protects the brick and flue. A properly sloped and sealed crown helps prevent cracks, leaks and costly repairs.
Crown & masonry repair →Looks strong, but it's sensitive to water. Once the mortar joints break down, water gets in, freezes, expands and can slowly pull the chimney apart.
Masonry repair →Seals the gap between the chimney and roof to prevent water leaks. We repair flashing with FlashSeal or replace it using high-quality materials such as lead panels.
Flashing repair →A metal door that opens and closes to control airflow, keeping warm air in and drafts out when the fireplace isn't in use.
Damper repair & replacement →Where the fire actually burns. Over time, the heat can crack bricks and mortar. We resurface fireboxes with products like Ahrens Fire or PriorFire, or do full restorations and custom veneers.

Keeps out rain, snow, leaves and animals. The cap should overhang the crown to provide the best water coverage and help prevent damage to your chimney, roof and home.
Caps & chase covers →A protective lining (clay, metal or cast-in-place) that contains heat and directs smoke safely out of your home.
Chimney liners →Funnels smoke from the firebox into the flue. We repair rough or damaged smoke chambers with a high-temperature refractory material called Formula 51. For heavy glaze buildup, we use PCR.
